A country I would like to visit

I would like to go to Australia, because it's a country full of animal diversity and new species that are exclusively of this country. Australia is for me a very exotic place, were you can do so much things.. reef dive, explore the forests, go on field trip and meet the animals.
I really don´t know much about this country, but the few things that I've seen makes me feel that it's a wonderful place to study, to work... to live! so, I think that if in some point of my life I could have the chance to visit there, I will go very happy.
The only thing that bother me is really contradictory, because I like the animal diversity, but not when we are talking about poisonous bugs or snakes, spiders or anything that can cause you a serious damage ( or a painful bite). No, actually that's the worst part of Australia, anything else it's amazing for me.
Another thing that likes to me about Australia is Sidney, because it's really beautifull, and even it's old, it looks modern. I would like to visit and enjoy everything, not just the nature, but also the culture and the mode of living of the Australians.

2009: a year of new challenges

The year 2009 was for me a year very different in all the years of my life. This year I went to the college and start to living on my own, alone, in Santiago. That was very difficult at the beginning because my family was always with me, all the time, in everything that I did, and start to live alone, have a dinner alone, cook and clean, pay bills, wake up! jaja that was all new for me. But the sadness wouldn't stay for so much time.. a month of living alone, my aunt came to stay for some days, and she is like my friend - sister and sometimes like my mom, so I asked her if she wanted to live with me and she said yes... I couldn't have been more happy, so we start to live together and we still living together till this day. The issue of college was another thing... Since I was in high school I wanted to study veterinary medicine in the University of Chile, and I spent two years trying to enter just to these college, and the results of the PSU were show up the 1rst of january of 2009.. that day was one of the best days of my life, because my family and I were so happy, and then quickly we traveled to Santiago to matriculate me. When I started the college I was afraid, because I didn´t meet anyone and I thought I was going to be alone.. but a month after I entered, I meet my friends and all the year I stay with them, till today. In the study, I was more than scared because I thought it's going to be very hard, but I start to study and then I started to go well. the worst of this year was that I missed so much my family, and that in the middle of the year my boyfriend broke up with me :( but a month after we broke, we came back :) jaja and now we still together. In summary, the year 2009 was a very good year for me, in almost every ways. But I hope this year could be even better ;)

Transantiago: the pros and cons

The truth is that for me, the transantiago has done a better means of transportation for people. While it's true, had once more driven and more locomotion than now, but the waiting time and location of the buses stop was far more uncertain. I think it's better now because it is much more organized and cleaner than before. even the appearance of a bus is better than the previous buses. before it was easier to take a bus anywhere on the street, but for that reason, the delay in reaching the target was much higher. if I remember correctly, the system transantiago began in 2007, and just this year I arrived in Santiago from another city to prepare me to take the psu, so I went through the toughest times of transantiago, but over time I started to notice the improvements. even the bus driver assaults decreased. however, if I had to make some changes, I think there were increase more guards, not just in "peak times", but in all times, to keep out people up without paying, or even put a guard inside the buses but in all routes to monitor functioning payment system. I say this because I noticed that there is only guards in some routes, but the rest, where there is no guards, the people have no respect and up without paying. another point that is worth mentioning is that of vendors. Today, vendors authorized to perform their jobs on the buses wear uniforms and credentials that certify that they are working. But what about the other people who are raised to sell any class of objects, food, drinks, utensils, among others? or those that are uploaded to sing or show their incurables diseases? the truth is that I find it quite unpleasant, because I think if it's a job then they should be serious and legally authorized to practice. but anyone can get on and say that have a cancer or an incurable evil disease that can't afford and needs money. Finally, although for some people transantiago brought more headaches than benefits, it is certainly: transantiago is here to stay, and is a better alternative to the subway at rush hours (around if it is really more terrible).

The Job that I love

Today i´m studing for being a veterinarian. That's because i love the animals, especially when they are babies. All this thing about the animals makes some people think that a veterinarian will be all the time doing the same and that's become a routine. But, even that could be true in some cases, i really look my self doing everything that could be possible to save the animals life. Maybe in a clinicall, maybe in a Zoo, or traveling around the world, looking for another species that here in Chile you can't see. When i think what i want to do in the future, there are many posibilities; sometimes, i even think that i would like to do all the ideas that i have! first, learn in a surgeon clinicall, and follow studing, then work in a zoo! and when i could have the experience and the money, start to travel around the world, or in the places called "hot spots" of animal diversity. I think that I could have all that jobs first studing so much, then having so much years of experience and collecting the money that i will need. But the most important, never stop of studing, even when i finish the university. That kind of future is the best for me because i´m a person that doesn´t likes the routine, so i want to do everything that is posible to take care of the health of animals, but in different ways.

My first Stage

This photo is really strange. As you can see, i'm in a kind of camerin, whith a school friend, and wearing an evening dress. Maybe you think, why she chose that picture? Well, the reason is because that picture is a very important moment in my life, maybe not the most, but is very important to me. It was the first time that i go to the stage! i was six teen years old (4 years ago!) and i was really nervous because my school was celebrating The Second English Song's festival, and my english teacher chose me and my friend to be the animators of the festival. in this moment i don't have pictures right on the stage, but this one in the camerin remains me the moments before we go up and start the festival. With my friend we've been making cabals on the camerin, but it's irrelevant names them on the blog, and only a few seconds to go, another friend enter to the camerin and take the picture. When we went up and cheer the public, all the people was so funny and nice, that the nervousness dissapeared. That time the challenge was double because we spoke in english, but when we finish, we had to translate to spanish. the important is, that after that festival, i discovered that i don't fear to speak in public, and that the stage for me is shine, not fear.

My special fun

In the vacations, when i'm finally in home, and all that i can do is rest, sometimes i feel bored. It seems to be unbelieveable, but it's true. So, when that happens, i know that there's an easy way to make me fun, alone or with someone else. The only problem is what that fun spend me so much time (incluiding, in extreme cases, lunch or sleeping time), because once i started, i just can't stop of play with it! maybe the video games are not atractive to all the people, but in my case, they are the best thing to make me fun in bored times, and i have a special feeling about them. Video games are simulations of the real life or fantastic things. Just chose the game you like the most and let the fun start. With the new tecnology, video games are not just press buttons, you have to move your hands, your arms, simulate to shot, or drive cars to extreme speed. You even can do yoga or exercise if you want, play tennis, play boxing.. it's not just kill an ugly monter! you have to be alarm all the time and move yourself. I started to play with them when i was fourteen, with the playstation that my dad gifts me. At that age i used to play so much, but when i grew up i stopped. Now, i play with my nintendo wii when i come back home and when i have time for it, but i still loving it. I think what without the video games, my boring time will increases to much, especially when i'm bored to do all the other things, even rest.
